Major Grant Funds Outdoor Spaces
The Forest Preserves received a $600,000 Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grant award from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR). We are excited to announce that this additional grant will fund outdoor improvements such as landscaping, accessible paths, and native plantings.
Together, these investments bring us closer to creating a welcoming and educational space for all visitors.
