The Natural Resources department will be celebrating Middle Fork River Forest Preserve's 40th anniversary with a hike through a restored wetland & tallgrass prairie, Point Pleasant. Learn about the ecological restoration on this site and end it with a view of the sun setting over the Point Pleasant Wetland.

This hike is a two mile long grass trail that winds through a very successful prairie restoration, along the Middle Fork of Vermilion River, past high quality oak-hickory forest and overlooks the point pleasant wetland.
